The main application developer ZQS Software has to offer is Folder Password Expert. We’ve reviewed this application here on FindMySoft not too long ago and found it to be a properly good utility to password protect folders. The application protects folders stored on your hard drive or removable storage devices, comes with a very easy to use wizard-style interface, integrates with Windows Explorer, and works with just about any Windows version.

The only kink in Folder Password Expert’s armor is the user. To be more precise, the password the user selects. If the user picks an easily guessable password, then anyone can gain access to the data that Folder Password Expert protects. The user needs to select a properly strong password that it cannot be easily guessed.

To help the user out, ZQS Software has another application to offer – the aptly named Password Generator. It is quite easy to use this application to, well, create passwords. From the application’ simple interface you select if you want your password to include capital letters, regular letters, and numbers. You can also set how long you want the password to be (from 1 to 100 characters long). Then click the “Generate Now!” button and you will be presented with a password created according to your specifications. Hit the “Generate Now!” button one more time and another password will be generated.
